Anna Louwen
Senior Creative/Copywriter, Köln
At Weber since 2015, always interested in finding creative solutions and reasons to laugh. Outside of work you find me drinking coffee, on the playground with my son, cooking or at concerts.

In five words or less, how would
you describe your Weber
Shandwick colleagues?
A bunch of nice people.
Describe Weber Shandwick’s
culture in three words:
Just be yourself.
What’s the coolest (or weirdest)
place a project has taken you?
A gloomy basement where a
cinematic prop-maker does his
magic.
What’s the best piece of career
advice you’ve ever been given?
Kill your darlings – but I kinda
hate that advice sometimes 😊.
Who inspires you and why?
Right now I’m deeply inspired
by dancer and choreographer
Parris Goebel and how she
redefines how a successful
dancer and an edgy
choreography must look like.
Follow her on Insta 😊
What does the ‘Era of Earned’
mean to you?
That we must find attention
grabbing, culturally relevant
ideas that have a real effect on
people outside our bubble.
What is the best thing you have
learnt since joining Weber
Shandwick?
To be confident about my work.
Describe a typical day at Weber
Shandwick
Coffee, teams meeting, a nice
chat in the kitchen, teams
meeting, teams meeting, coffee,
teams meeting, lunch, teams
meeting…
If you were to use our mobility
programme offer Access All
Areas, where would you travel to
and why?
I would like to work from the
New York or the Chicago office
because there are a lot of
interesting and creative people
there that I could surely learn
from.
Which of our company values do
you most identify with and why?
(Our values: courage, inclusion,
curiosity, impact)
I think for me it’s a mix of
curiosity and impact. If you’re
curious, you will find surprising
ideas and solutions that will
have real impact.
If your working day was made
into a Netflix episode, what
would it be called?
I want to say “The inspiring life
of a woman who never settled”
but honestly it would rather be a
“Berliner Schule” kind of film
where nothing really would
happen, which would be called:
“The girl and the laptop”.
What do you like most about our
Cologne office?
I really like working from our
sunny terrace in Cologne.
